Topics: This year, the International Conference will include special sessions concerned with the topic, "Visuals in Digital." In the sessions on "Visuals in Digital," participants will discuss various aspects--conceptual, developmental, practical--of visually presented materials in digital formats. Specific topics will include: visual information design, visual intelligence, Web-based visual development, design of educational digital materials, visuals and learning, digital or visual leteracy, visuals and learning styles.

Who will/can participate in this special sessions: Scholars, practitioners, educators, graduate students who are interested in research, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of web-based digital materials.

Submission of Abstracts

• The deadline for the submission: August 31, 2004.
• Abstract format: All abstracts should be written in English in Microsoft® Word with no more than 400 words. Please include research purpose, methods, and major findings.
