The Education Research Institute(ERI) at Seoul National University(SNU) invites international academics to join the Sixth International Conference on Education Research(ICER) that will be held October 20 through October 21, 2005 in Seoul, Korea. The SNU ERI ICER is an international conference held annually for the purpose of disseminating and supporting research in education as well as of building academic networks within the Asia-Pacific region. Despite its short history, the SNU ERI ICER has become a special venue for international academics to share educational research outcomes and to discuss core educational issues in the region. Since the year of 2000, more than 350 people from about twenty countries have joined and made discussions about topics such as, “Reflections and Explorations for Educational Development in the 21st Century: A Search for Asian Identities and Perspectives” (2000), “Understanding Educational Issues in the Asia-Pacific Region” (2001), “Teacher Education in the Asia-Pacific Region: Current Issues and Future Prospects” (2002), “School Curriculum in the Asia-Pacific Region: Current Issues and Prospects”(2003), and “School Counseling and Guidance”(2004). More to come later. Ki-Seok Kim(Chair), Tae-Won Jun, Yong Je Woo, Chul-Il Im &
