Asia Pacific Education Review
Asia Pacific Education Review (APER) publishes three times a year high quality academic articles in education. It was founded by the Institute of Asia Pacific Education Development, Seoul National University in 2000, which has been being owned and operated by Education Research Institute at Seoul National University since 2003. The general purposes of the journal are to stimulate research, encourage academic exchange, and enhance the professional development of scholars and other researchers who are interested in educational and cultural issues in the Asia Pacific regions. The members of its editorial board represent diverse professional and cultural/national areas such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, Australia, Taiwan, Korea. All articles are published in English, and they are indexed and annotated in the Current Index to Journals in Education, Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), the monthly journal citation publication of the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). Call for Papers Asia Pacific Education Review invites submissions of papers in the areas of educational research including cross-cultural, comparative or other types of research that may be related to critical issues or observed phenomena of common interest in all areas of education across Asia-Pacific countries. Review papers and innovative reformulations of educational theory from Asia-Pacific perspectives will also be considered. Research centered on one particular country should focus on social and cultural factors and explore the theoretical or practical relevance of findings within a broad Asia-Pacific context.
